Motorcycling Mania
They say that one of the keys for couples who have remained married for a long time is that they have a shared passion. Well, here’s mine and Gwynne’s – we love our motorcycle. We’ve been all over the U.S. on it. In 2005 we celebrated our 25th anniversary with a 3 week trip to Lake Powell, Grand Canyon, San Clemente all the way up Pacific Coast Hwy 1 in California and then back to Colorado Springs (4500 miles of bliss).
                                     
It’s a Honda Goldwing (sorry Harley riders… by the way, do you guys know the difference between a Harley and a Hoover… the position of the dirt bag!).

Okay, now that I’ve made some enemies, here are some pictures to enjoy. If any of you out there are bikers (even Harley riders), maybe we can do a bikers retreat some time. The last two pictures were taken after our 13-mile hike to the top of Pikes Peak – 14,115 ft. altitude! It’s quite a challenge, especially the last 3 miles above tree line. The reward, however, is a spectacular view and a much greater appreciation for the creative genius of God.
