Meet the Family
First things first, my wife Gwynne (in the white in front of me) is Jesus to me. I remember praying as a young boy that God would bring me the woman who was the best choice for me. After 25 years of marriage, I am amazed at his faithfulness in answering this prayer. Not because the road has been a smooth one, because it hasn’t been. And that’s a good thing because intimacy is born of struggle – we see this lived out in the life of Jesus as he often interacts with the Father. The intimacy we now share is something I would not trade for all the riches the world possesses.
                
Now for the kids… who are all single… which is a problem… because I want some grandkids! My oldest son Zac is on the far left. He’s 25, lives here in Colorado Springs and runs a fly-fishing magazine and gets to go to a bunch of really cool places – and he gets paid for it! He owns his own car and house. I just say that to let all you younger women know that “he’s bonified” (if you don’t “get that” go see the movie “Oh Brother Where Art Thou”).

My daughter Kelley is next in line. She recently graduated with a degree in elementary education and is teaching school here in Colorado Springs. Kelley loves her daddy and the door swings both ways. I grew up with three older brothers so I like to tell people that when she was a child and did something wrong… I spanked one of my sons!

On the far right is my youngest son, Jason. Jason is 20 years old, owns his own truck and has a great job as an electricians’ apprentice (for which he’s also going to night school). Jason is also single and bonified… but beware, he has his father’s genes! He’s ornery to the core.
